We've been exploring the rivers and remote regions of East Africa and Madagascar since 1985 and throughout the year wonderful options available. There are still areas yet to be investigated; we continue to search for undiscovered regions and have a number of exploratory expeditions planned for the future.

The region is very popular for tourists which means there are many accommodation options available in the area. They range from camping to economy hotels to luxury resorts and lodges. Most places have very good reputations for their service and rooms, however if you need any advice or information on where to stay, please contact us.

In Madagascar, along with our scheduled departures, we're pleased to organize expeditions on the Manambolo, Mahavay and Betsiboka Rivers. Options in Ethiopia include extended trips on the Blue Nile, Awash and Tekeze Rivers as well as tours to the popular Historic Route
